This game needs unique houserules, so forget all the ones listed under DCA Houserules.

Characters start out as 15 point characters, completely ignoring PL!
Wealth actually is important so normal rules for money and equipment go out the window and instead there is following:

Characters get actually amounts of money to save, increase and spent.
Without wealth benefit they get $100 per adventure for free spending.
(Food and rent are considered to be already paid..unless you get a complication saying otherwise)

Each level of the wealth benefit multiplies the amount of spending money by 4.


The company starting money is to be considered $6000.
(That is total, not per adventure...you have to see that you earn money;) )


To make inventions(or magical items)permanent you can spend the money for parts.
the first Equipment point costs $400 each additional point doubles the amount.
You can decrease the cost by adding +5 to the skill check to build per rank you want the cost lowered.

The standard invention rules and prices from above post are of course only workable for personal equipment.
For bigger things like say a car they make no sense.

In that case following system will be used.
Equipment cost is equipment points *$6000
Build DC is 10 + Equipment points/5

Price can be halved by increasing the DC by 5 points

The Invention process requires all powers to be in library first.
Only once that is completed the assembly can be created with check identical to the unmodified build DC

To avoid potential abuse of Ritual and Jury rig rules, I have to add a cost to one time usage things too.

Any effect that is made with a ritual or a one use item with technology costs 1% of what a standard item with those capabilities cost.

(That means of course that personnel wealth does limit how much you can do that way in a single session, unless you tap into company funds)
