Grizzly Peak 1: A new era of horror

It all starts at one typical normal boring work evening.
The auditorium is filled with students and parents as they watch a mediocre performance by a couple of students.
From what you can tell it is some badly acted mediocre written piece about three witches.

The most difficult part seems to be not to fall asleep.

But then the doors are smashed open and what looks like a bunch of zombies enters.

student

Hey, man, great costumes. So what...ahh, he bit me..ahh

And suddenly panic raises as it sinks in that these monsters are real.

The audience scrambles to their feets and moves away from the zombies(and the exit)
The zombies shamble after the crowd.
But that they are much slower won't matter much once the crowd has reached the opposite wall.

(I'll leave it to you if you want to start with full powers..or just write in an accident to empower you now)

This is worse than Charmed, Josh thought to himself while adjusting the spotlight to follow the action onstage. The acting was extremely overwrought and pained, sure, but tonight it seemed even more so than usual.

But work is work, and Josh could suck it up as long as he needed to, so long as the bills were getting paid. While the pay wasn't great for this line of work, he could put up with a terrible production or spoken word performance on most nights.

Tonight was not one of those nights.

He rolled his eyes and followed the lead actress around the stage as she crossed from left to right faster than she was supposed to. "Oh come on, I'm not a robot, how do you expect me to keep up with you running around like a damn ferret?"

Of course, the sound of doors being smashed open prove distracting and Josh yanks the light towards the excitement. It looked like the student union was protesting drunk driving- or meat eating? Hell, some sort of scourge of society as they saw it.

But they looked bad and smelled terrible- they might actually not have been students. In his excitement from whatever this spectacle was that was unfolding from the back of the auditorium, Josh accidentally knocked one of the lights down onto the ground while trying to back up against the wall.

"...shit." He looked around for something to defend himself with. A sharp tongue wasn't going to cut it here.

The glass on the smashed down glass bursts, but seemingly there is still a current running through it.

While the audience moves to one side and zhe zombies slowly shamble after them, the bitten student remains in her seat, shivering.

As you look still around for a weapon you see three more people entering, who look like zombies.

But they certainly don't move as slow as the first six.

These 3 move a lot more normal, and they don't follow the crowd, but move next to the seats, coming straight towards the stage.

The actresses still stand on there, mouth wide open.

Seemingly they are too stupid to run away.
But at least they don't scream
