Impervious
For all effects up to impervious rank add 10 to any roll that comes out as 10 or less. (Reducing the die range to 11-20)


Penetrating
Consider the impervious rank of the target like it would be penetrating ranks lower.


Changes this will bring obviously:
1) Characters no longer suffer a sudden drop from immune to be as vulnerable as anyone else.
2) Characters with high levels of impervious can feel nigh invulnerable again
3) Penetrating finally becomes a useful extra again
4)If Batman wants to beat up superman he needs kryptonite again. (With rules as they are now, picking up escrima sticks and using power attacks would be enough. At least if he can avoid being hit long enough.)
